I had a great great experience with Allianz. We are UK/US citizens that needed car insurance in France the very next day. We had tried going into another insurance company's store in Duras thinking it would be easier in person, and found that they were very unhelpful. Allianz came to the rescue. They issued a cover note immediately and communicated clearly what paperwork they needed from us. They were also much cheaper.
